The Wellington Soccer Association provides opportunities for children in the Wellington area to play soccer at the recreational and competitive levels.  Wellington Soccer Association is open to children in the Wellington, Black River and New London School Districts.  Any child age 5 and older is welcome to join.

At the youngest age level, which are ages five through seven, the players train in an in-house program learning the basics of ball control and the rules of the game. These children are divided into teams that all play at the Recreation Park in Wellington, Ohio.

As the children grow and develop, teams play in the Lorain County Soccer League, a recreation level league comprised of teams from around our county. This begins with the U9 age group and continues throughout the player's career. In some instances, coaches express the desire to commit their team to either the AASL or NOGSL. These leagues are competitive leagues, where the level of play is greater and the travel commitment is generally more extensive including as far south as Wooster and east to Mentor.
